🌱 Soaking & Sprouting Instructions (Jar Method)

Days to Sprout: 4–5 days
Soak Time: 4–6 hours
Yield: 1 Tbsp of dry seed yields approximately 3–4 cups of sprouts.

  • Put 1–2 Tbsp seed in a wide mouth jar with a sprouting lid.
  • Add water, swirl, and drain. Refill jar with water and soak 4–6 hours.
  • Drain well and invert jar at a 45° angle on a sprouting rack, or in a bowl or drain rack.
  • Rinse twice daily with cool water, swirl, and drain well.
  • Enjoy! Ready to eat in 4–5 days (or to your taste).

🌿 Tray / Microgreen Growing Instructions

Days to Grow: 8–12 days
Soak Time: No Soak
Seeding Rate (10" x 20" tray): 20 g to 32 g per tray.

  • Pre-moisten soil or a grow mat in a shallow tray.
  • Spread seeds evenly over the surface.
  • Mist lightly and cover with a second tray or humidity dome.
  • Stack and weight in the dark for 2–3 days.
  • Once sprouted and pushing up, remove weight and uncover.
  • Move to bright indirect light.
  • Water gently as needed (bottom watering preferred).
  • Harvest when greens reach desired size.

🌬 Drying & Storage

  • After the final rinse, allow sprouts to grow another half day so they absorb excess moisture.
  • Pat dry gently on a paper towel.
  • Store dry in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Line the container with a paper towel for moisture control and replace as needed if damp.

🌾 Yield & Value

  • 30 grams (approximately 2 tablespoons) of dry seed yields 3–4 cups of fresh sprouts.
