What It Is

Moo've in Comfort is a tallow-based comfort salve handcrafted in small batches using locally sourced grass-fed, hormone-free beef tallow from Norfolk County, Ontario and a carefully selected blend of cooling, warming, and supportive ingredients.

The tallow is rendered in-house using a traditional multi-stage process for purity, smooth texture, and stability.

Firm yet meltable, it softens on contact with the skin — allowing the formula to absorb slowly and stay where it’s needed.

A little goes a long way — this is a concentrated, purpose-built salve designed for targeted use.

The Formula

Tallow (Local — Norfolk County, Grass-Fed, Hormone-Free, Quadruple Rendered In-House)

Similar to the skin’s natural sebum, tallow absorbs readily into the skin barrier for lasting nourishment rather than sitting on the surface. Sourced from grass-fed cattle for higher levels of vitamins A, D, E, and K, and carefully purified for exceptional clarity, stability, and a clean, neutral finish. Naturally rich in conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), supporting calm, resilient skin.

Organic Jamaican Black Castor Oil (Ricinus communis)

A dense, slow-moving oil that gives the salve its rich, grounding texture, helping it glide over the skin and settle in for a more lasting, deeply comforting feel. Naturally deep in colour, it also gives the salve its characteristic warm, brown tone — a reflection of its unrefined, traditional form.

Organic Meadowfoam Seed Oil (Limnanthes alba)

A highly stable, sebum-mimicking oil that helps regulate moisture and enhance absorption, allowing the formula to remain active on the skin for longer periods. Naturally resistant to oxidation, it also helps extend the shelf life of the oils, supporting the stability and integrity of the formula over time.

Organic Carnauba Wax (Copernicia cerifera)

A plant-based wax that provides structure and stability, giving the salve its firm consistency so it holds its shape and resists softening in warmer temperatures, while also helping the formula stay in place for extended support.

Copaiba Balsam Essential Oil (Copaifera officinalis)

A rich, resinous oil traditionally valued for its soothing, grounding properties. Exceptionally high in beta-caryophyllene, it helps support the body’s natural response to areas that feel overworked or strained, bringing a calming, balancing quality to the formula while enhancing the overall comfort experience.

Organic Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha piperita)

Provides the first wave of the experience — an immediate cooling, awakening sensation that makes the salve feel especially refreshing on tired, overworked areas.

Organic Clove Bud Essential Oil (Syzygium aromaticum)

As the peppermint’s cooling sensation settles, clove takes over with a deeper, warming feel that gives the salve its lingering, comforting finish.
